Can you take a fridge or washing machine?

Empty, disconnected whitegoods may be accepted after assessment. We do not disconnect plumbing or electrical connections. Include photos, dimensions and the access route when requesting a quotation.

Bulky household items

Mattress, sofa and furniture removal enquiries

These items may be accepted after assessment. Photos and measurements help us check the load and access before confirming collection.

Mattresses and bed frames

Tell us the mattress size and number of items. Bed frames must be disassembled. Include stairs, lift dimensions and any narrow doors on the removal route; do not assume dismantling is included.

Sofas and couches

Show the whole sofa, approximate dimensions and the route to the vehicle. Flag heavy components, tight turns or stairs. We confirm whether the item can be safely moved before accepting the job.

Tables, chairs and small furniture

List and photograph every item, including anything added after the first enquiry. Extra items can change the volume, weight and quotation. Fixed items and unsafe lifts are excluded.

Rubbish removal costs and preparation in Melbourne

How much does household rubbish removal cost?

View our household rubbish removal starting prices to plan your budget. Your final price is confirmed after assessing the items and access.

We quote each residential load after reviewing photographs. There is no single published price for every collection. The volume and weight of the items, disposal requirements, stairs, lift access, parking and the route to the vehicle affect the quotation. Send photos of every item, approximate dimensions, your suburb and preferred date so we can confirm what may be accepted and the price in writing.

How should I prepare for furniture collection?

Photograph the items where they are and show the full access route, including narrow doors, stairs and lifts. Bed frames must be disassembled, and whitegoods must be empty and disconnected. Tell us about parking and any building access arrangements. We do not disconnect plumbing or electrical connections. Wait for acceptance and booking confirmation before assuming an item can be collected.

Can rubbish removal be booked on its own?

Yes. Household rubbish removal can be requested as a stand-alone residential service or alongside cleaning, subject to assessment and availability. A basic sweep of the cleared area is included; detailed cleaning is separately quoted. Tell us if removal needs to happen before a rental handover or property photography.

What if I add more items after receiving a quote?

Send updated photographs and an item list before collection. Extra items can change the load, disposal requirements and safe access, so they must be assessed and included in the agreed quotation. Hazardous materials, building rubble, fixed items and unsafe lifts are excluded.

We accept enquiries across Melbourne metro, including the northern, western, eastern, south-eastern and inner-city regions. Collection depends on the load, safe access, location and availability.
